Send Bugpot reports to Azure DevOps
The Azure DevOps integration writes Bugpot reports into Azure Boards as Bug or Task work items, in the project and area path you pick.
Bugpot × Azure DevOps
Create Azure Boards work items from Bugpot reports with the screenshot and environment attached.
Status pills flow both ways.
How the sync works
Two-way sync, not a fire-and-forget webhook
Bugpot writes the report into Azure DevOps and then watches for changes coming back — status, comments and closes — so the two systems stay in step without anyone re-typing anything.
Outbound
Bugpot → Azure DevOps
Reports become Bug work items in the project you configure, with the screenshot uploaded as an attachment and the environment in the repro steps.
Inbound
Azure DevOps → Bugpot
State changes (Active, Resolved, Closed) toggle Bugpot status, and work-item comments mirror back into the report thread.
Field map
What lands where
Every Bugpot field has a home in Azure DevOps. The defaults are sensible; you can remap any of them from the workspace settings if your setup names things differently.
| Bugpot field | Azure DevOps field |
|---|---|
| Title | Issue title |
| Description | Description (Markdown) |
| Reporter name + email | Reporter (custom field) |
| Environment block (browser, OS, viewport, URL) | Environment (Markdown code block) |
| Console errors | Attached as fenced code |
| Annotated screenshot | Attachment (PNG) |

Setup
Five steps, about five minutes
The whole thing runs through OAuth — you don’t paste tokens, and Bugpot only requests the scopes it needs to create issues and read status changes.
In Bugpot, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect Azure DevOps.
Authorise Bugpot to read and write to your Azure DevOps workspace via OAuth.
Pick the project that each Bugpot workspace should push to. You can override per issue type.
Map Bugpot statuses to your Azure DevOps statuses so the two-way sync knows what "resolved" means.
Send a test report from the widget and confirm it lands in Azure DevOps with the screenshot attached.
